Connect any website with the SEOFIX Tag

Paste one line into Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, GoDaddy, Webflow, Google Tag Manager, cPanel or any site.

The SEOFIX Tag is one line of code you paste into your website builder's header-code setting — the same place you'd paste a Google Analytics code. No plugin, no developer.

  1. 1In SEOFIX open your site → Connect site → SEOFIX Tag → Use this.
  2. 2Copy the line under The SEOFIX Tag.
  3. 3Paste it using the steps for your website builder (below), then save and publish your site.
  4. 4Back in SEOFIX, click Test connection — we load your homepage the way Google does and confirm the Tag is running. This also verifies you own the site.
  5. 5Under Permissions, allow the kinds of changes SEOFIX may make, then use FIX MY SEO.

What the Tag can change

  • Page titles and meta descriptions
  • Canonical tags
  • Structured data (JSON-LD)
  • Redirects for broken pages (a JavaScript redirect Google follows)
The Tag applies changes in the browser. Google renders pages, so it sees them. Facebook/LinkedIn link previews, Bing and indexing (noindex) settings read the raw page, so those changes need to be made in your site builder — FIX MY SEO shows you where. On WordPress, the plugin can do everything.

Where to paste it: Wix

  1. 1In your Wix dashboard, go to Settings and open Custom Code (in the Advanced section).
  2. 2Click + Add Custom Code and paste the SEOFIX line.
  3. 3Name it SEOFIX, choose All pages and Load code once, and set Place Code in to Head.
  4. 4Click Apply.
Wix runs custom code only on a published site with a connected domain (a Premium plan).

Where to paste it: Squarespace

  1. 1Open Settings → Developer Tools → Code Injection (on older sites: Settings → Advanced → Code Injection).
  2. 2Paste the SEOFIX line into the Header box.
  3. 3Click Save.
Code Injection is included on Squarespace plans above Personal.

Where to paste it: Shopify

  1. 1In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
  2. 2Next to your live theme, click ⋯ → Edit code.
  3. 3Open layout/theme.liquid, paste the SEOFIX line just above </head>, and click Save.

Where to paste it: Webflow

  1. 1Open your project's Site settings → Custom code.
  2. 2Paste the SEOFIX line into Head code and click Save changes.
  3. 3Publish your site.
Webflow custom code needs a paid site plan.

Where to paste it: GoDaddy Website Builder

  1. 1In the GoDaddy website editor, open Settings → Site-wide code.
  2. 2Paste the SEOFIX line into the head section and Save.
  3. 3Click Publish.

Where to paste it: Weebly / Square Online

  1. 1Open Settings → SEO.
  2. 2Paste the SEOFIX line into Header Code and save.
  3. 3Publish your site.

Where to paste it: Duda

  1. 1Open Settings → Site Settings → Head HTML.
  2. 2Paste the SEOFIX line, save, and Republish.

Where to paste it: HubSpot CMS

  1. 1Go to Settings → Content → Pages, pick your domain.
  2. 2Paste the SEOFIX line into Site header HTML and Save.

Where to paste it: Framer

  1. 1Open Site Settings → General → Custom Code.
  2. 2Paste the SEOFIX line into Start of <head> tag, save, and Publish.

Where to paste it: WordPress

  1. 1Easiest: use the SEOFIX Connect plugin instead (Other ways to connect below) — it can also change social tags and indexing.
  2. 2Or install a header-code plugin such as WPCode and paste the SEOFIX line into Header.

Where to paste it: Ghost

  1. 1Open Settings → Code injection.
  2. 2Paste the SEOFIX line into Site header and Save.

Where to paste it: Google Tag Manager

  1. 1In Tag Manager, go to Tags → New → Tag Configuration → Custom HTML.
  2. 2Paste the SEOFIX line.
  3. 3Under Triggering, choose All Pages.
  4. 4Save, then Submit → Publish.
Use this if your site already has Google Tag Manager — no changes to the site itself.

Where to paste it: cPanel / plain HTML site

  1. 1In cPanel, open File Manager → public_html.
  2. 2Edit your shared header file (e.g. header.php) — or, for plain HTML, each page's file.
  3. 3Paste the SEOFIX line inside the <head> section and save.

Where to paste it: Custom-built site

  1. 1Send the SEOFIX line to whoever maintains your site (use Email the instructions below).
  2. 2They add it once inside the <head> of every page — usually one shared layout file.

Test connection says the Tag wasn't found

  • Make sure it's set to load on all pages and placed in the head.
  • Publish the site — most builders don't run custom code in the editor or preview.
  • If your site has a strict Content-Security-Policy, allow seofix.pro for scripts and connections.
