Operating modes and the automation policy

Recommend, Approve & Fix, and Autopilot — and exactly what Autopilot may touch.

• Recommend (default) — SEOFIX analyzes everything and changes nothing.
• Approve & Fix — SEOFIX prepares changes; you approve them individually or in batches. Granting write permission on Connect site switches a Recommend site to this mode.
• Autopilot — after each audit, SEOFIX applies the complete, non-high-risk fixes in the categories you switch on here (titles & meta, structured data, canonicals) *and* allowed on Connect site. Autopilot never changes indexing (robots) or redirects, and every change is still verified and can be rolled back.

Every automation permission starts OFF. High-risk changes — deleting content, URL migrations, navigation, product data, legal claims, checkout — always require your approval, whatever you enable.

Change the mode and policy in Settings for each site. Only Owners and Administrators can change the automation policy.
