Connecting your website (so SEOFIX can apply fixes)

Set up SEOFIX Connect in a few minutes, and control exactly what it may change.

Auditing needs no access — SEOFIX reads your public pages like a search engine. To apply fixes, SEOFIX needs a small, revocable connection to your site called SEOFIX Connect.

1. 1Open your site, then Connect site in the sidebar (or the button on FIX MY SEO).
2. 2Choose where your site is built: WordPress, Next.js, or Other / custom. Not sure, or rather not do it yourself? Choose Do it for me and the FMJCode team will set it up.
3. 3Follow the install steps and paste your site key. (Someone else manages your site? Use Email the instructions and send them the key separately.)
4. 4Click Test connection. When it passes, your site's ownership is verified automatically too.
5. 5Under Permissions, tick Allow SEOFIX to apply changes I approve and choose which kinds of changes are allowed. Titles & descriptions, social tags and structured data are low risk; canonicals and redirects are medium; indexing (robots) is high risk.

You stay in control

• Nothing changes until someone with approval rights approves it (unless you switch on Autopilot for specific low-risk categories in Settings).
• Pause all changes switches every SEOFIX change off instantly — your site goes back to its own tags. Nothing is deleted; resume any time.
• Replace site key if a key may have leaked. Disconnect removes the connection and undoes every change.
• If SEOFIX is ever unreachable, your site simply keeps the last approved values — it never breaks a page.
